But Lawrence is not laughing with him. His face visibly darkened as he clasped his wrist.

Kevin reassuringly patted his hand. "It's okay. I dare take that risk because of my skill, [Camouflage]. I was actually curious about that kid's ability to turn humans into a skill. Did you notice? Lawrence, when Ace has that white light appear, you unconsciously use your skill, [Self Shift], the moment you hit against the wall. Look, there's still residue." 

Kevin's complexion is rosy. The chocolate he got after playing around inside the Royal Casino for two hours was extremely helpful. Lawrence can tell just by his voice that the chocolate has healed most of his injuries.
