Capítulo 42: Dinner party (8)

Lawrence kept silent at the corner. 

This secret exchange did not happen again. But he was waiting for the moment they took action. 

But Kevin could not wait! 

He saw the waiter Grandpa ordered to fetch him food. And that same waiter is heading to their table with two big plates filled with raw chicken and salmon as he wanted. 

There's even a small portion of tuna juice that he can smell even from here. Kevin licked the side of his mouth as he eagerly attempted to jump at the waiter.

But every time he did so, Lawrence would hold him down. His fluffy belly was held tight with one hand and his neck was pressed down as well.

"Meowwww~" Kevin wailed in protest. 

"Stay put. You can have that food later." 

Kevin's face immediately scrunched up. Meowing in refusal and rebuttal. "Meoww meoww!"

I wanna eat now! My stomach is making the gooo goo sound!

It's saying feed me now or suffer from my wrath later!
