Capítulo 81: Ember Performs

Elric found a place sitting next to Jen just before the light on stage lit up. The vocal coach looked a bit concerned- all of the venues Elric had planned out for Ember to attend were canceled in the past few days.

She's been wanting to listen to the girl sing up on stage, but now the only chance for that was during the actual qualifiers.

There was nothing she could do now to help the girl prepare, though she had done her best to teach Ember as much as possible, even using the time that'd originally been for her to perform as practice time instead.

"Do you think she'll do well? I'm worried… if this competition doesn't go well, will she still stay as motivated as she is now?"

Jen looked worried, but Elric wasn't afraid.

"Even then, we'll find a way to succeed. You've heard her sing enough, you know that she has the talent needed to survive here, and we both have the determination. It's only a matter of time."

Elric's hand brushed against his leg as he smirked.
