"It's alright, captain," Thorance said, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Basically, the slightest distraction can ruin the entire thing." 

"It's still a good skill to have. Thank you for showing it to me," she said, putting down the theory in her mind probably for future use. She then excused him and he went away, leaving the couple alone in her precious garden.
