Capítulo 42: The last one
After 2 days ...
Sebastian strolls the streets observing the man with the hat. He was the last Lord he had to catch in the crystal. The man seemed to know someone was watching him, so he dragged down his hat.
His feet stride in a hurry to reach his apartment building. Glancing around he feels the gaze following him.
Sebastian smirks looking at the man who closes the building door.
//Master, you're going to catch a cold. Is raining! // Nyx whispers to the man. Well, it sounded like a bark since he was having the form of a Doberman. Sebastian holds his leash and frowns.
"Rain won't make me sick of all things." He brushes his hair that is dumped from the drizzle. With a head shake, he makes his hair sit in a wild manner.
//You will see …master. //A bark is announcing Nyx's disagreement with what his master said.
Sebastian rolls his eyes and says "Let's take care of the last one. I am sick of this …"
// Yes, master. //
With a snap, Sebastian teleports according to the address Nyx knows in the apartment of the man.
The man was named Simone Fross. He was one of the higher ups vampires, his company was valued at millions of dollars. The man was single, and his playboy attitude was known by every one .
Sebastian steps into the living room. A wide window shows the panorama of the city. Luxurious furniture was mobilizing the room as well as the other rooms.
Sebastian shakes his head again and with a snap, he makes himself invisible after making a spell.
Simone is opening the front door and takes off his wet shoes.
"I could swear someone was following me …Was it a girl I slept with, again? …. Damn them." He mumbles to himself as he takes his coat off. His blondish hair is messed up as the hat is taken off too.
"What should I have for lunch ?..." He says in an excited voice as he goes barefoot towards the kitchen.
Sebastian is invisible. He follows him with his eyes.
'He is too carefree ….' Sebastian's thoughts are making him frown. He did this to all the lords he sealed. It was good to watch over them for a few minutes to see if they showed signs of being affiliated with Fang or showed hate towards him.
//He might be innocent, master. // Nyx talks to Sebastian through the man's thoughts.
'Even if he is …. I will seal him. I am doing this because of you, anyway. 'Sebastian's thoughts are directed to Nyx.
// Indeed …. you sealed many innocent people these days …why are you even respecting my request if you do what you like anyway ?!// Nyx makes Sebastian smirk.
'I don't want to have qualms of conscience. 'The man lets out a mental laugh imagining Nyx's face.
//...…Smart of you, master. //
Sebastian looks at Simone who sips some blood from its fridge. Only stray vampires or vampires affiliated with Fang drank blood out of pleasure. He smirks and looks devilish at the man who sips peacefully.
Ring …Ring…. Ring
The phone is ringing from his bag that is on the couch in the living room. There is a half wall like a counter between the kitchen and the living room.
He jumps and takes grabs his phone in a hurry. "Thank goodness you called me. How is it going?" He talks to the man over the other line. He frowns as if the other person just gave him some bad news.
"All the Leaders are sealed? How in hell …..I felt this morning someone following me …" Simone is walking around the kitchen with his hand on his hip. "That motherfucker …Who those he thinks he is? Goodness Sebastian!" The man seems to be very displeased with the things happening. Little does she know that his being watched.
Sebastian teleports behind him," Bo! "Simone looks behind as he tosses the phone on the ground. His body contorts as he gets scared of Sebastian, and in the end, he falls on his knees.
"Tsk…" Sebastian looks at the phone that was broken. He could have talked to the man on the phone to see who was it. Now the chance is lost.
"You scaredy cat …..who was on the phone?" He tries to talk to Simone. The vampire is casting a spell and Sebastian blinks. Sebastian was having a protective barrier. "Have you not heard me?" He kicks the man's face." Your spell is not going to work on me".
Simone looks at him as blood is lingering from the corner of his mouth, his face regenerates quickly and he rises from the ground trying to run to the living room.
'Is this guy not in his right mind?' Is not like a few steps away are going to make a difference, he will be sealed anyway.
Simone takes out of his bag some crystals. With a spell, he cracks them and three female vampires are making their appearance.
"Ladies … "Sebastian smirks and makes Nyx appear in front of him." Take care of them. I don't want to lower myself this much." Sebastian makes a disgusted face and teleports after the man who is already gone.
//Making me do the dirty work, again …. // Nyx frowns and growls. He jumps biting one of the vampire's fingers off while the other one is sending spears towards him. He runs and rips her leg off her body. The other female vampire has some sort of dagger and she is almost stabbing Nyx, but he passes through her legs.
The blood itself, Nyx couldn't teleport if the master didn't command. And as Sebastian left him there, he can only play with the vampires that are regenerating fast.
// Master, you should hurry up. I am getting bored! //Nyx communicates with Sebastian through the man's brain. Sebastian is running after Simone who apparently could have used his teleportation and escape but he doesn't.
'Is he having a problem with the spell? 'Sebastian wonders as he goes doesn't the stairs.
Forget to mention that the building was 10 levels high and Simone was living at the 9th level. They will have plenty of time to run after each other.
Simone is taking out his knife to cut his vein but he stumbles and his knife escapes from his hands, falling a few stairs down." Damn!"
Sebastian teleports and grabs his knife from the floor. Now it was the chance to catch the bastard. He was sure that Simone cant vanish as he teleported since he must use the knife that just fell to do so.
"So, you can't teleport without using the knife …. Low class …I see." With a snap, Simone is sealed in a yellow crystal.
'Despite his money, he is still helpless …' With this thought in his mind, Sebastian teleports into the living room.
Nyx has droopy eyes as he jumps from one place to another while ripping the vampires apart, just to make them regenerate. Of course, the vampires were careful to not have vital parts bitten off.
//Master …Free me. // Sebastian laughs and with some snaps the vampires transform into crystals that the man catches mid-air, placing them in his pocket. "We are both in this shit. "Sebastian replays smirking.
Nyx is lying on the ground as Sebastian looks at him with a frown. He knows that Nyx can't be feeling tired or whatever. His blood was just feeling maybe a little too bored and lazy. "You should get your ass up, Nyx …" The man's words are cut by his sneeze.
Nyx raises his ear.
//I told you to not walk naked in the rain, master. // Sebastian is frowning. There is no way that he actually sneezed because he caught a cold.
Sometimes Sebastian wonders if his blood was too close to him. That was a good thing but his words could have been more polite. He got used to the temper of his blood. Funny …. Disrespected by your own blood.
Though, Nyx was right. Catching a cold was possible only because of one reason. The fact that he stood in the rain that much made his blood freeze and not regenerate him fast like always. He might catch a short cold. The fastest way was to drink some blood though. Sebastian sighs.
This happened to him once so he knows the remedy." Shall we visit, Lily, really quick?" The man is raising his eyebrows at the dog that now stands on his fours.
Nyx looks at him and says, // How are you going to face her, after what you said last time, master? //
Sebastian frowns and brushes his hair back. The blood was right.
"Are you opposing me? I will pretend you didn't say anything. It wasn't even a question to begin with. "Nyx sighs. Sebastian smirks, then he snaps his finger and in a few minutes, he is in front of Lily's door.
He opens the door and goes inside. The TV was open in the living room. He calls after her." Lily! …Lily! "No response. The man strolls around the house.
The woman was not in the kitchen or the bedroom. With fast steps, he looks into the bathroom too. Nothing …. He closes the TV that was in the living room.
The man wants to go outside to check the garden when he sees a note on the table.
