Capítulo 7: Crystal Pure Waterfall Sect

He placed the hand on it, and it started to glow.
"Hold your hand on it for as much as you can bear, don't worry it's safe" assured the instructor, so that Luo Chen wouldn't make a fool of himself and take his hand too soon.
Luo Chen understood and nodded.
after a while he started the feel hear a light dizzing sound as if his ears were slapped lightly, it grew over time along with it were a headache and a dizziness took over him.
40 seconds pass, it grew stronger and stronger but it could still be bearable.
50 seconds, 60 seconds, at this point he could barely last the headache was intense as if he read books for 3 days straight without sleeping, resting or doing anything else, finally when he couldn't hold it anymore he took his hand off.
"68 seconds, very impressive your talent is 6.8, the most talented in this batch and the first who passed the 6 talent range." said the instructor with a pleased expression, it seems that his view about Luo Chen changed by 180 degrees. Luo Chen observed his reaction and was pleased too.

"ok" replied Luo Chen. as he returned to his mom.
" I did it, I passed." Luo Chen declared excitedly.
"I'm so happy for you Luo Chen, but never forget to visit your parents too, we want to see you grow up as well." said his mother.
"Congratulations Luo Chen, as expected of my son, when we get back we feast to celebrate your success, i prepared a special portion for you."
said his father fully expecting of this results.
'They really are kind people, honestly I'm lucky that I got them and if circumstances were different like the nature of this world being cultivation, and the excessive risk of being a mortal was so constant I wouldn't plotted to manipulate them so much up to every detail, I would have lived my life comfortably, contented with what I had been given. 22 were 4 in talent, 12 were 3, 41 were 2 and the rest were 1.
In cultivation talent was counted from 1 to 10, 1 being the weakest while 10 was the strongest.
between 1-3 the talent was low, 4-5 was average, 6 was good, 7 was very good, 8 was gifted, 9 was genius and 10 was a monster.
There were 2 main effects in terms of cultivation talent. First the most obvious one was speed, the number determine how fast your cultivation will be with 1 being a speed of 1 and 10 being a speed of 10, in other words it was 10 times faster than any regular civilian who didn't have any talent in cultivation. If this was explained in terms of speed, 1 was a car driving on a highway with 10km/h and 10 was driving with 100km/h.
It was no wonder that people were not satisfied with a talent of 1. If someone was driving with 10km/h on a highway a lot of people will be upset by the slowness and would consider it a sobatage of their driving experience.
Luckily today even for those who didn't have much talent, the sect was open, after all the members have decreased lately.
There were beasts who resides around the Crimson Tears and Wishful Jade Goddesses too, nothing was spared from these monsters, they were everywhere, with Cristal Pure Waterfall sect being assaulted by the day.
These foul beasts didn't have any intelligence and attacked relentlessly anyone who caught their sight, they killed in cold blood and ate the body completely, even a hungry wild animal would run at such a sight.

When the Tuo Ming announced to hour of departure the kids and their families left for their house to prepare.

There was a huge airship at the testing camp made like a resistent huge balloon, it was made in different methods compared to the technology in our world.

It was spacious and luxurious, there were many tables with a lot of food and snacks prepared on them, it was like the treatment of a noble. The kids didn't wait any second and went on it, not everyone had prepared soo much food like Luo Chen parents so some of them were hungry. Luo Chen only took a few bites of the snacks and didn't touch the food, he was to full for that.
'Finally one step closer on my path to glory, just you wait heaven, you will definitely become jealous of me as I become successful and surpass you, just you wait!" tought Luo Chen, his eyes filled with unwavering resolve.
