Capítulo 65: Chapter 65: The Uncle and the Lolita Story

Today is a very ordinary morning in Konoha Village. It is quiet and peaceful. Occasionally, a flock of birds will pass through the sky, chirping to welcome the dawn, and the day begins like this.

There are already pedestrians on the street early in the morning, workers cleaning the streets, Konoha police patrolling and inspecting, ninjas waking up early for morning exercises, busy shop owners opening their doors, etc.

Asuma is a "tough" man with a very regular schedule. When he doesn't have tasks, he would appear on the street early every day for a walk, buy a copy of "Konoha Daily" and read at his usual breakfast shop.

Typical everyday life of a single old man who hasn't found a woman yet.

It must be said that he still has no relationship with Kurenai.

"Konoha Daily" is the only newspaper in all of Konoha Village, produced by Konoha Newspaper and sold at major newsstands at 5 a.m. every morning.

In front of the newsstand, Asuma shouted at the dozing boss with his head in his hands, "Boss, get me a copy of Konoha Daily!"

"Hmm... ah, you can put the money wherever you want and take the newspaper yourself." The boss raised his sleepy eyelids, and after vaguely seeing that the person coming was Asuma, he closed his eyes peacefully. The two are old acquaintances, so they are not afraid that Asuma will cheat him.

Asuma smiled and placed the money on the table, took a copy of "Konoha Daily" and read it as he walked.

"Huh?" After reading half of the content, Asuma felt a bit strange. He stopped and muttered to himself strangely, "What's going on? Why is today's newspaper different from before?..."

Asuma flipped through the last few pages and looked at them, and he found that compared to before, there were much fewer boring trash news, so the newspaper left a big spot at the end, which said "Fiction Column" in some big characters.

"Fiction Column..." Asuma skimmed over it and became very interested. He has been reading "Konoha Daily" for at least a few years, and this is the first time he sees a section for stories.

He directly turned to the "Fiction Column", wanting to see what kind of novel was written.

""Leon: The Professional"? Hey, that's an interesting name!"

When Asuma saw the book title, he couldn't help silently commenting a few lines in his heart. Although the name wasn't realistic in his eyes, it also piqued his interest, so he continued reading.

["Taverns are usually most crowded at night. At three in the afternoon, this obviously inappropriate time, a man with dark round glasses arrived, with a strong figure, as if every muscle contained powerful explosive power...

[After arriving at the tavern, he entered a small private room alone without greeting anyone...

His name is Lyon, and he is an assassin.]

It's just the beginning, without too many fancy language decorations, but it deeply captivated Asuma. The way Leon appeared on the stage had a tough guy style, which made him feel empathy, as if that cool man was him.

Asuma's lines go.

From Leon discussing business with the old man in the dive bar, to him going to work, to make a rich businessman obedient, every detail firmly captures people's hearts, especially the endless assassination methods in the fighting link, after Asuma weighed it...

It was inexplicably refreshing!

"Hey, Asuma, don't you have a plate of noodles today?"

The owner of the soba noodle shop looked at his regular customer Asuma walking by with a newspaper and asked anxiously.

Asuma, who is idle in Konoha Village, usually starts his morning with a newspaper and a plate of soba noodles.

Seeing Asuma pass by his shop with the standard newspaper but not entering, the Soba Noodles owner was in great conflict, wondering if he had found a new soba noodle shop, so he stopped coming?!

After the feeling of crisis arose, the boss immediately shouted at Asuma, wanting to find out the truth.

"What?" When Asuma heard his name, he touched his head in confusion and then realized he was only three steps away from the soba restaurant, so he quickly opened the curtain and entered, embarrassed. He said, "I was fascinated reading the 'Konoha Daily' today, and I forgot to look where I was going. Boss, bring me a bowl of soba noodles, add an extra tempura and an egg!"

"Well!" The boss heard the familiar order and began to serve soba noodles very happily. Luckily, he didn't lose his regular customers.

While Asuma was sitting and waiting, he picked up the newspaper and continued reading, "This killer is not so cold."

[ Leon's house is rented, he doesn't care where he lives, he only returns after completing the task, but when he climbed the stairs, he encountered a strange little girl with short hair and a pair of beautiful eyes. However, she was full of vigilance and had a bruise on her cheek. She looked at Leon, who suddenly approached, forced a smile, and greeted him...

[ It can be said that the conversation between the two people was a bit awkward, and Leon quickly returned to his room. The girl --- Matilda, was just his neighbor...

[ The girl has a somewhat rebellious appearance, and even a bit of tenderness...]

"Hey, my friend, your noodles!" The boss brought a deluxe bowl of noodles in front of Asuma and said helplessly, "I don't know why you're so obsessed with the 'Konoha Daily' today, did something big happen? Usually, you leave the newspaper as soon as you smell the scent of my noodles!" The boss said with a little annoyance and jealousy.

After hearing this, Asuma looked up and said with a smile to the boss, "Today's 'Konoha Daily' is a bit interesting."

[ Matilda was expelled again...

[ Her older sister often chases her, and her stepmother doesn't like her and often takes revenge on her, so she simply beats her, and if that wasn't enough, her gambling father does nothing about it...

[ Standing in the hallway, Matilda's nose was broken and blood was continuing to flow down. Leon met the girl again, hesitated, and handed her a small handkerchief...

[ Matilda was surprised for a moment, then she took the handkerchief, wiped the blood, then raised her head and asked calmly, "Is life always this painful? Or is it just like this because I'm a girl?"

[ "Always." Leon calmly responded...]

Asuma continued reading and couldn't help but sigh that the author's understanding of life revealed through the hero Leon is spot on!
