Eden stared at Noa and So-Rin. His eyes were wide open and his jaw was dropped, clearly taken aback by their unexpected encounter.
"How did you get here, Eden?" Noa asked, equally surprised to see his roommate.
"I, uh... I was just taking a walk in the park after witnessing the capital punishment in the city. And somehow, I ended up here," Eden stammered, his tanned face turning red. His eyes darted nervously around the room, looking for an escape route.
So-Rin glanced at Eden and commented, "Oh, I thought you went home to rest. You haven't fully recovered yet."
"I'm fine, really. Don't worry about me," Eden replied, trying to assure them.
Noa furrowed his brows and was silent for a moment. He thought that there was something strange since he met Eden at the front door of the laboratory.
"Did you know something about this secret building, Eden?" Noa inquired.
