-Death's Grove-

Reqiel's eyes flew open, a terrible premonition tingling his senses. He had fallen asleep so fast and had roused just the same; as soon as he was fully lucid, he could hear the loud crackling of the fire and it eased his worry somewhat.

He couldn't go back to sleep until he saw Andras so he rose to his hands and knees, reaching out to open the flap of his tent only to find it completely empty. Reqiel's heart sank and he rushed out of his tent so fast that he fell on his hands and scraped them but he didn't even notice.

Andras was nowhere to be found on the campsite. The dark woods pressed in on him, animosity brewing in the silent trunks now that he was all alone, nothing but a crackling fire and a shallow river for company.
