The sailors and the slaves were moving faster. Theo couldn't help but look at them from above the ship.

"Is there something bothering you?" Gonzalez asked.

"It's nothing. Even though you say they are slaves, they don't look like they are being treated harshly." Theo pointed at the people below.

He was right. He thought the slaves would be mistreated, and there would be a lot of whips and deaths around. 

However, those slaves might look tired, but their bodies were quite good and maintained. They didn't look like slaves at all.
