Turles ordered his Construction Force to begin building a military university on the now- mostly empty Planet New Namek through his scouter. Some days later, while Turles and his soldiers were on the way to Planet Cereal, Turles was ambushed inside his very own laboratory.
"Daddy!" Turles felt three little gremlins latch on to him out of nowhere while he was working on the first two infinite energy model androids, Cargo and Dende.
They appeared without sound and masking their ki inside his locked lab. Turles was actually very impressed they managed to lock on to his restrained ki this far out in space. He used this chance to take some time away from his work and spend time with his children. Although a spaceship wasn't that fun of a place to explore, the kids cared more about spending time with Turles than they did actually doing something fun.
"What's this place, Daddy?" Stella curiously asked.
"This is the new Robotics Force." Turles proudly introduced.
"They build robots?" Basil figured.
"No duh, they build robots." Bon crossed her arms.
"Robots!" Kress wanted to see some robots, Turles figured.
"This is where we're going to build robots to help the Planet Trade Organization and the planets that are under our control," Turles explained.
"We have to help the planets after we conquer them?" Bon sounded confused.
"They won't make a profit on their own. Living beings have their limitations and can't do everything. Robots will make it easier to profit from others, and taking care of those weaker than us that have to us will be helpful in the long run." Turles made sure his children knew the weak had their value, too.
"How?" Stella questioned.
"Do you like to eat, Stella?" Turles suddenly asked her.
"I love eating!" Stella happily answered.
"What's your favorite food?" Turles smiled at seeing her little pink face light up.
"I loved eating those uhm, uhm, uhm!" She had it on the tip of her tongue. "Those big animals! With sharp teeth, and sandy skin, and long faces!" Stella excitedly did her best to explain.
"The dinosaurs?" Basil tried to help his youngest sister.
"Yeah! Di-no-saur!" She emphasized each syllable. "They tasted really yummy."
"I really liked those hairless bear people." Bon slightly drooled, remembering the first planet she took over with her father watching over her.
As his children got caught up in the topic of food, Turles showed them some of the latest prototype robots he had the engineers develop. Three drones flew around the Turles Family. They were colored red, green, and blue. The red was an Attack Drone, the blue was an Assist Drone, and the green was a Recovery Drone.
Kress happily screamed at the sight of the flying robots as he leaped off of Turles's tail and chased after the drones. The drones were programmed to avoid direct contact since all of their designed purposes can be done at a range. They avoided Kress, and he grew excited at the chase. "So, what does the blue one do?" Bon asked.
She could figure out what the one called attack and recovery could do, but how could that tiny robot assist her? Basil also had the same thought running through his head. To their inquisitive little brains, Turles activated the app programmed into his new scouter with a click on his scouter. Three beams of energy shot out at once. One blasted Kress in the face, the other focused on Stella, and the last one directed its beam at the enraged Kress.
A yellow ki wave shot out of Kress's mouth, destroying the Attack Drone in a single attack. He held in his tears with as much willpower as a half-Saiyan toddler could as the mark on his forehead was disappearing. "I feel stronger! So the blue one makes me stronger?!" Stella asked.
"It recovers your energy." Turles corrected her.
"Wow, that's cool!" Stella exclaimed.
"Daddy, what are these weird things in your hands?" Bon noticed.
"Ki suckers." Turles laughed.
"What?" Basil must have misheard his father.
"They suck up ki." Turles restated.
"Really?" Bon didn't doubt her Daddy, but those little things could really suck up her ki?
"Wanna see it?" Turles held up his hands with a smirk.
"Yeah!" Bon jumped off of Turles and began building up energy for a massive attack strong enough to demolish the ship they were traveling in.
It seems training with Kakarot after his Namek ordeal and spirit control has done wonders for her power. Basil must have similar amounts of strength if Bon was this strong. Her competitive spirit wouldn't allow her to be content being weaker than Basil, who acts the most unSaiyan out of all of his children. Turles thought in amusement where she got such a high sense of pride in being a Saiyan from when she was just a halfling. He certainly wasn't going around saying pride of a saiyan this pride that. That was the deceased Prince, and the only child of Turles he could have met was Basil.
"Take my strongest attack, Daddy! Galactic Eradication!" A large ball of energy sped out from Bon's palms. He could see several tiny energy spheres bouncing around inside the larger sphere, each bounce increased the speed of their bouncing.
Turles didn't know whether it was a good thing or not that his eldest daughter trusted him this much. This attack was powerful enough to destroy a small cluster of planets. Either she trusted him enough to know that this attack would be completely nullified and not kill them all horribly, or she wasn't thinking at all about the consequences of Turles failing to negate this attack and something else. It wouldn't do for him to raise his child to be ignorant.
"Bon." Turles absorbed the ki sphere without a problem, feeling the power coursing through his body. "Tell me what you were thinking before you fired that attack."
"I was thinking about showing you how much stronger I became! After all my training on Planet Yardrat, haven't I become much stronger!? I can go out and conquer planets on my own now, right? Just like Big Brother!" Bon happily replied to him.
"Daughter." Turles gently rubbed her head. "What do you think would have happened if I wasn't able to absorb your attack?"
"That's crazy. Of course, you would. You're my dad." Bon looked up at him with a cocky grin on her face.
"Let me repeat the question." Turles crouched down and got at eye level with her. "What do you think would have happened if I wasn't able to absorb your attack?"
Basil, Kress, and Stella all went silent as they realized something was wrong with their father's line of questioning. He wasn't happy. Basil has never seen his father angry, and neither has his siblings. Auntie Naba said she'd seen Father angry before, but none of them could ever picture their father angry. The most they've seen was disappointment or strictness.
Turles was disappointed in Bon. Bon caught on to this by the tone of his voice and the serious way he was acting. She started shaking and hyperventilating until Turles cupped her by the cheek and kissed her on the forehead. "I'm not mad at you, sweetie." He reassured her. "Now answer my question, please."
"I-I-I could've blown up the ship…" Tears were pooling around her eyes.
"You could've blown up the ship. What else could've happened?" Turles nodded.
"I-I could've hurt people that I didn't want to hurt or shouldn't hurt…" Bon wiped her eyes.
"You could've killed Stella and Kress. You, Basil, and I can teleport and are strong enough to survive your attack, but what about them? They haven't completed their training in spirit control, and they are weaker than you." Turles needed her to think of the consequences of her actions. Otherwise, she'd be taken advantage of by some moderately intelligent opponent, even with all of her potential as a halfling.
"I'm-I'm…" She sniffed up the snot leaking from her nose. "I'm sorry!" Bon tightly embraced her father as she wailed.
"I just want you to think more, Bon. Think before you act. Can you do that for me?" Turles comfortingly patted her back.
Bon made some unintelligible noise into his armor, and Turles just picked her up and carried her. "Alright, kids, let's go get something to eat. I'm starving after working all day." Turles decided. The mood was a little somber because of his impromptu lesson for Bon, but food always made a Saiyan happy. He could tell they were looking forward to it even if they weren't cheering or smiling. Reading body language was a useful skill to have if you knew the signs.
Some minutes later, the Turles Family was joyfully eating ice cream in the cafeteria. Turles planned to tour them around the ship and see more of the new divisions he'd made. After all, he couldn't run this entire organization by himself, even if he could clone himself. It was healthier to rely on people other than himself, despite the small part of himself denying that thought. These children were his legacy. They could and should be trusted to know the inner workings of the empire they were born into.
Turles also couldn't be here running things forever. He had places to go, timelines to visit, universes to check out, and more. Someone had to be trustworthy enough to keep things running in his place while he was gone. Who better than his own children? But he could also probably count on the Crusher Force too. He was proud of how he trained them.
