Capítulo 18: Kiss me back

Roseline's POV

And in that fleeting moment, time stood still as his lips crashed onto mine. My body froze, overwhelmed by the unexpected sensation. It was my first kiss, and I never imagined it would be like this.

The touch of his lips against mine wasn't bad but it was unexpected and came as a surprise to me because it was from the person from which I least expected.

I thought that he loves someone else so he is not going to get intimate with me. But the way his heart was beating beneath my palm told a different story. It seems like he wanted more, more than just a kiss and he isn't going to stop without claiming everything he wants.

He stayed like that for a minute as if the world stopped for him as well.

He wasn't breathing, he wasn't moving just like me, the only sound which we could hear was our thumping hearts that were beating in the same rhythm.
