"I am…"

"Lana! Watch out!"

The voice that yelled at me snapped me out of my thoughts and brought me back to the present moment, but before I could concentrate, Jena came slashing at me with a demonic speed, powered by the intention to crush me once and for all, but that was where the wonder happened.

But just as Alpha Cedrick was taken aback when I broke his means of coercing his victims into submission, I had always had this question in the back of my mind. The question was: apart from the human part of me that is known to be fragile and susceptible, what was I?

Who was this other part of me that could calculate and predict things with such pinpoint accuracy? 

Who am I, exactly, that a portion of me can pick up on nearly everything going on around it as if it were hardwired to each and every one of those things?
