Capítulo 80: Foul Smell Part 1

[In the Kingdom of Veridiana…] 

"Sir…" He handed the bread vendor a few copper coins before getting a bag of freshly baked bread. 

The boy closed his eyes before breathing in and smelling raisins that were being heated up from the warmth of the bread. 

Hugging it, he walked through the clean brick street. There was not much crime, not much homelessness. If you were to see a homeless man on the streets of Veridiana, it would be like finding a sasquatch. 

Unless you truly purposefully messed up your life, it was hard to fail at all in this Kingdom, there were no slaves, and the nobles, to retain their status, had to work 8 hours a day fulfilling the nation's duty. 

Even though there was limited democracy, a patriotic American wouldn't mind living in such a peaceful Kingdom. 

But all of a sudden, the kid's face turned sour, triggering him to place his shirt on his nose. There was a foul smell in the air.
