Almost sobbing.

I retreated while observing her features. Her cheeks were dripping with tears. "Emily?"

She hiccupped and leaned in to kiss my neck as she pleaded me, "Don't stop," hoping for comfort. She attempted to squeeze between us with one hand. A mix of feverish desire and subliminal despair, it was a weird kind of desperation we had never seen before. We were aware of hasty romance and covert meetings, but this was quite different.

I pinned her against the wall and yelled, "Stop," as I inched closer to her. What are you doing, baby?

She finally opened her eyes and focused on my collar. One by one, she undid the buttons on my shirt. Just one more time, please, I need to feel you.

"One more time," what are you talking about?

She refused to make eye contact with me or speak to me.
