Capítulo 76: Armistice
In the living room of Ars' house.
Ars and Hashirama sat face to face, neither of them started a conversation, and the atmosphere was tense.
(Come to think of it, it was mentioned that Tsunade met and interacted with her grandfather? Doesn't that mean Hashirama was alive at least until Tsunade was a kid? Why did I forget this? Living too long has made me senile.)
Ars realized he had forgotten something important.
The silence lasted a few minutes, and Hashirama couldn't stand it.
"Ahem... I didn't know you had a Sharingan, Ars. Not true, you said you weren't from this world, so you weren't from the Uchiha Clan, which means..."

"Calm down, Hashirama. Want Coca Cola? You haven't had it in a long time." Ars said lightly.
Two Coca-Cola bottles magically appear on the table.
"You disappointed me, Ars. Has living long lost your morality? Madara is your friend! He will be very angry if he finds out what you did."
Until now, Hashirama has still considered Madara a friend, even though he has become an enemy.
"Don't get me wrong, I didn't gouge out the eyes of any Uchiha Clan member. You can rest easy."
"Is it true?"
"It's up to you to believe it or not."
Observing Ars' indifferent expression, Hashirama couldn't tell whether the other party was telling the truth or was lying. But he chose to believe and sat back down.
"Can you tell the origin of your Sharingan? Even if I trust you, I can't rest until I know the truth." Hashirama rarely looked serious.
"Well... You're my only friend left in this world. There's nothing wrong with telling you."
Reflecting for a moment, Ars told the legend of the Uchiha Clan's Ancestor, Otsusuki Indra.
While hearing the story, Hashirama couldn't resist the temptation, and drank Coca Cola.
Because he had to isolate himself, 10 years, he has not drunk Coca Cola again.

Hashirama lowered his head and apologized.
The mood of his day got better after knowing that Ars had not done something he hated.

Hashirama smiled wryly and nodded: "You guessed right, Ars. After my fight against Madara in the Valley of the End, it's true that I was seriously injured, but not to the point of death. Because I'm tired of being Hokage, I pass the position of the next Hokage to Tobirama."
"He spread false information that I had died to see if the Uchiha Clan would revolt. Besides, he wants me to become Konoha's trump card if something bad happens to the village."
Ars shook his head and said emotionlessly: "After hearing your story, I can conclude Tobirama doesn't trust me as a Guardian at all."
"Don't blame him, Ars. Tobirama has an overly cautious personality."
As an older brother, Hashirama understood his younger brother's character.
"Just forget it. Let's stop talking about dead people. What's your next plan? Would you like to fill the currently vacant position of Hokage?" Ask Ars.
Hashirama shook his head and said: "Before his death, Tobirama passed the position of Hokage to Hiruzen, and I respect his choice. I'm old, let Konoha be led by a new Hokage, and Hiruzen believes in the Will of Fire as much as I do. I'm sure he will lead Konoha in a better direction."
"Since you believe in him, I hope Hiruzen lives up to your expectations."
Ars was not as optimistic as Hashirama about Hiruzen.
Among the seven Hokage reigns, he considers the Third Hokage's government the most incompetent.
Sarutobi Hiruzen served as Hokage for two terms, and his tenure was the longest among the other Hokage.
Unfortunately, during the era of his reign, Konoha experienced many internal and external problems.
For example, Hiruzen allowed Orochimaru to escape, so many innocent people became victims of his human experiments.
He didn't deal with the Uchiha Clan's dissatisfaction, so he decided to rebel, which ended with the massacre of the entire clan.
He turned a blind eye to Danzo's actions, such as working with Hanzo, causing the death of Uchiha Shisui, spreading rumors that Hatake Sakumo committed suicide, and spreading Uzumaki Naruto's identity as a Jinchuriki.
Hiruzen could have prevented Danzo from doing all of that, but just because they were 'friends', he pretended not to see his friend doing anything bad, including trying to kill him.
There are still many more sins committed by Danzo.
This was all because Hiruzen didn't do anything!
(I don't really like intervening in the Timeline, but Danzo's actions have weakened Konoha's strength too much. Let's watch over him for a while, if he doesn't change, then I will eliminate him before he evolves.)
Ars decided to kill Danzo so that Root would not form.
Hashirama didn't know Ars had formulated an assassination plan. He chatted about the trivialities of his daily life with his wife, and he told his son that he liked a girl from another clan.

One year later.
The First Shinobi World War had taken too many casualties and halted the development of the Five Great Villages. Therefore, the Kage decided to hold another Five Kage Summit in the Land of Iron (Tetsu no Kuni) to discuss a truce.
As the Third Hokage, Hiruzen was able to access top-secret information, he also knew Ars' identity as the Guardian who had protected Konoha since the village's founding.
He had visited Ars several times to establish good relations.
Even so, Ars treated Hiruzen as a 'casual acquaintance', and not a 'friend'. He even declined his invitation to become a bodyguard at the Five Kage Summit.
The result of the Five Kage Summit was an armistice agreement, establishing 20 years of peace between them.
The ones who wanted a truce the most were Kumogakure Village and Iwagakure Village. They had lost too many Shinobi in the attempt to invade Konohagakure Village. Not only that, they had lost Jinchuriki.
Bijuu are considered like nuclear weapons in the modern world. Now that they had lost the weapons of war, it temporarily extinguished their ambition.
20 years is enough time to develop the village and train the talents of many Shinobi.
