Issei nodded internally, his determination unwavering. 'I should focus on perfecting the combination of Nightmare Mode and Balance Breaker. I've never actually practiced merging the two before, but it might become necessary when facing even stronger adversaries. I'll consult with Red later to enhance my skills. If Ajuka ever tries to challenge me again, I'll become his worst nightmare,' he resolved.
"If he's willing to back down, then I'll let the issue go as well," Issei sighed, gradually retracting his powers and reverting back from his draconic form.
Sirzechs, relieved by the mutual understanding, addressed both parties with a solemn tone. "I'm glad you both have come to your senses. There's no need for any further bloodshed. However, the situation remains delicate. My sister confirmed the truth about your brother's unethical kidnappings of humans under Heaven's protection. Diodora even targeted a girl who was under her guardianship. Given the circumstances and the witnesses present, it would only reinforce the fact that Diodora was in the wrong. "
"Gabriel's involvement also means that the angels have a vested interest in this matter and will expect some form of justice. Even if Hyoudou hadn't killed him, your brother would not have escaped unscathed. Granting Diodora amnesty could have potentially sparked a war with Heaven. His demise, though unfortunate, was not an unjust outcome," Sirzechs explained, his words carrying a weighty significance.
The gravity of the situation settled upon the listeners, each contemplating the intricate web of consequences that had unfolded.
The need for a delicate resolution became ever more apparent, as the clash between the supernatural forces threatened to escalate into something far more catastrophic.
Ajuka let out a deep, weary sigh as he turned his gaze towards the seraph, seeking confirmation. "Gabriel, can you confirm what Sirzechs has just stated?"
Gabriel, the Archangel, nodded solemnly. "Indeed, Diodora Astaroth has been engaging in the heinous act of kidnapping holy maidens who are under Heaven's protection. This cannot be allowed to continue. While it was not our intention to cause such an incident, we have been authorized to use necessary force to put an end to this despicable practice. Our primary objective is to ensure the liberation of these girls from the clutches of the Astaroth family and to secure your assurance that the faithful will no longer be subjected to kidnapping or harm. It is imperative to note that Issei Hyoudou is also under Heaven's protection, and any further attempts to provoke him will be met with our intervention," Gabriel stated diplomatically, his words carrying the weight of divine authority.
Grayfia couldn't help but mutter under her breath, her skepticism evident. "I don't think he needs your protection..."
Ajuka, acknowledging the gravity of the situation, spoke in a resigned tone. "Very well, I accept your terms, Archangel Gabriel. You are free to claim my brother's former peerage, and we will cease our involvement in this matter. However, I must caution you that the political repercussions of this event will be significant. My parents and many nobles will undoubtedly react strongly. Now that the matter is settled, I shall take my leave," Ajuka declared before vanishing through teleportation.
As Ajuka disappeared, Issei turned his attention to Sirzechs, his voice laced with curiosity. "So, you're Gremory's brother, Sirzechs Lucifer?"
Sirzechs offered a warm smile, finally meeting Issei face-to-face. "Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you, Issei Hyoudou. I apologize for Ajuka's provocative actions. He was merely acting in defense of the Underworld and his family. I understand that your actions today will upset many, but I do not condemn you. You came here to protect your friends, and in doing so, you indirectly aided my sister once again. I will do my best to mitigate the political fallout from this incident. Your show of power, coupled with Heaven's support, will likely dissuade any further attempts from devils to provoke you or disrupt your peaceful human life," Sirzechs explained, his words carrying a sense of understanding and empathy.
Issei nodded, his determination evident. "Alright, then... but if anyone ever lays a hand on my friends or my family again, they can bet their lives that they'll face war with me."
"I will do everything within my power to honor your request. However, I have a favor to ask of you as well. Please, look out for my sister and her friends. I am certain that Lady Leviathan would also implore you to watch over Sona and her companions. Can you do that for me? I ask not as a Maou, but as an older brother," Sirzechs humbly requested, his tone carrying a genuine concern.
The dragon shrugged, his sense of responsibility apparent. "I guess... I'll do what I can."
"Thank you," Sirzechs expressed his gratitude before departing with Grayfia and his entourage of devils.
Once they had left, Gabriel turned his gaze towards Issei, a sense of duty emanating from him. "I will teleport all of you back to Kuoh."
The queen of Diodora, concerned for her fate, couldn't help but voice her worries. "And what about us?"
Gabriel tilted her head slightly, her gaze focused on the distressed girl. "Don't worry, I can take you to a safe place for now. Step into this portal, and we can discuss your situation in more detail later," Gabriel reassured her, conjuring a gentle, radiant portal before them.
Understanding the unspoken message, the girls nodded and stepped into the luminous gateway, instantly whisked away to a place of refuge.
Swiftly creating another portal, Gabriel turned towards the remaining group. Her voice carried a sense of urgency. "This portal here will take you back to Kuoh. Please step in, and I will transport you back immediately."
Issei approached the portal where the others were already assembled. Without uttering a word, they all stepped into the shimmering gateway, their bodies enveloped by its ethereal energy, and in an instant, they found themselves back in Kuoh Academy, standing on familiar ground.

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Issei let out a relieved sigh. "I'm so grateful that I managed to get Xenovia and Irina out of there in time."
"C'mon, let's head home," Issei said, addressing Irina and Xenovia as he casually slipped his hands into his pockets, ready to make their way down the street.
"Hold on, Hyoudou-kun!" Rias called out to Issei, her voice filled with a mix of concern and gratitude, while Xenovia and Irina followed closely behind him.
Issei turned back, his eyes meeting Rias'. "What is it, Gremory?"
Rias expressed her appreciation sincerely. "Thank you for eliminating Diodora. That slimy bastard deserved to die. I don't care about the opinions of anyone in the Underworld. You will have the unwavering support of the Gremory Family, and I know the Sitri Family stands by you as well," Rias affirmed, her approval evident.
Surprised by Issei's response, Koneko cocked her head in disbelief. "Did Hyoudou-san just say he should be thanking us?"
Rias, puzzled, tilted her head, seeking clarification. "Thanking us? For what, exactly?"
Issei's gaze shifted away briefly, his voice tinged with gratitude. "You kept him occupied. If you hadn't been there, who knows what would have happened to Irina and Xenovia. I won't forget that," Issei explained, a sense of acknowledgment in his words.
Rias trailed off, her expression reflecting her realization. "I... I never even considered that."
Irina, breaking her silence, spoke up with a hint of melancholy. "Nor did I..." She and Xenovia shared a somber glance, the weight of the recent events weighing heavily on their hearts.
Feeling a sense of responsibility, Rias mustered the courage to make a request. "I hate to impose any further, Hyoudou-kun, but could you spare a few minutes to talk with us before you go home? Tonight has been an upheaval of extraordinary events, and it would be awkward if we didn't address them."
Issei's agreement surprised everyone present. "Yeah... okay."
Rias perked up, her voice filled with disbelief. "Seriously?"
Kiba and Koneko exchanged widened expressions, their attention now fully focused on Issei, their friend's unexpected willingness to engage in conversation.
Issei sighed, his gaze shifting between them. "What do you want to talk about?" he asked, his tone suggesting a mix of curiosity and weariness.
