"I just need to hold them off long enough for my men to escape." Coughed Alonso as he reloaded his sniper rifle. The powerful long tipped rounds were design for hunting cryptids and unlike most firearms, they didn't need gunpowder but just a hint of orichalcum to channel enough flux energy for the trigger mechanism to activate. The rifle itself was an advanced weapon modeled after a Barret precision rifle with enhancements that could have killed a heavenly rank hunter with a single headshot, yet against the hulking anthropomorphic creatures its rounds were akin to a mosquito bite.
