"Look what you have done!" Charlie scolded the student as the creepy sound of footsteps became louder. It was obviously a cryptid trying to make its way towards them but it was impossible to tell what kind of cryptid it was. At that moment, Uriel realized that something must have been interfering with his mystical sense because, usually, he would be able to at least tell whether there were any cryptids on the vicinity.

Charlie grabbed her rifle and pointed it towards the closed door that led to the watchtower, but contrary to her expectations, the cryptid broke through the ceiling and fell directly on top of her. As a heavenly rank, she was bound to be the first to be sensed by any cryptid.
