Because they were inside the moving plane, their body would also move in accordance to the plane's movement. But because they were inside, they would not feel it and instead feel as if they kept on going in a steady pace.

If the plane moved slightly, they would not be able to sense it unless they were very sensitive to the motion. But most people would not be able to do it except if the plane stopped suddenly or make sharp turn.

But if the difference was only one degree or two, they would not be able to feel the difference.
