He conducted a few experiments with the new knowledge that was being inputted into his mind, and he quickly figured out what the saved Mana represented.

It was like a power bank where he could store his Mana, allowing him to continue fighting in battle even if he ran out of mana as long as he had the Veil of Ashes, it would recharge him with the exact amount of Mana he had saved.
