He wasn’t scared of him, per se, but he desperately needed to know the spell Michael had cast, this knowledge would enable him to formulate a counter if Michael attempted a similar move again.

As he felt if all he did was unleash powerful strikes while Michael evaded everything, then he would be bound to lose.

His mind raced with various thoughts, contemplating whether Michael would engage in close-quarter combat after witnessing the destructive capabilities he possessed.

However, while Connor was lost in his deliberations, Michael grew bored and swiftly dashed towards him, catching Connor completely off guard.
