Valerie's POV

The massage section and the skin therapy section were really spectacular, it was like a queen treatment to me. I loved every single moment of it, especially that of the massage. It's the first time in my life that I've done that.

I wonder why all these treatments are necessary, simply because we'll be visiting his relatives. To be frank, all that doesn't change the fact that I came from a poor background, but nevertheless I love it.

"What did you say? Perhaps I heard wrongly." I said with a fake smile that wasn't even meant to convince him to begin with, and my heart was pounding rapidly as though a gun were being pointed at my forehead.

"Valerie, I need you to calm down and listen to me." He said while making eye contact with me, and I nodded like an Asama lizard.

"Okay, I'm calm, just repeat what you just said." I said while adjusting the plate.
