Capítulo 140: BAD PERSON

"Nonsense, by the time he gets here, I'm sure it would be past midnight already," said Jake as he tried to lure her into his car.

Monica stared at Jake, she noticed the smile that he wore earlier was still displayed on his lips, as if he had decided to no rest his cheekbones.

"So let's go?" Jake urged her but she declined again,

"Thank you for the offer but like I said, Felix is on his way. He will be here soon".

"Are you scared of me Monica? Are you scared that I might do something to you?" he questioned her when her resistance started to irritate him. "I'm not a bad person, I just want to take you home since you are stranded on the street and besides, you are my friend".

Speechless, Monica clamped her mouth shut and looked away. Felix had informed her to stay away from Jake. Although she didn't know the real reason behind the warning, she didn't want to take the risk.
