Capítulo 16: Cooler Saga 4
After Vegeta finished dealing with the weaklings, he went back to his ship to prepare to stay as much as possible on this planet. He needs information not only about the situation but about Cooler too. If he is not there, then he will need to search in another place.
Although he did feel a somewhat strong Ki on this planet, he couldn't confirm anything. At his level right now, a fluctuation of ki from 50.000 to 200.000 are the same thing. Sometimes he imagined if it was like that for guys like Frieza too, and maybe even Cooler.
For some reason, Tights followed him inside the ship. He allowed it since it is not like she would steal anything anyway. And she's smart too, she would probably know how this ship works better than him just from a look.
"Hm 4 fridge with a bunch of different food. Is this for how many months outside 6? 8? "She asked, a bit curious. He had come a lot more prepared than she thought.
"2 weeks." He said, like the most normal thing in the world.
She looked at him with an incredulous face." Really? That's food for, what, 4 people to eat in a few months." She walked out of the fridge area and sat on the bed.
"Ah~ a comfy bed, can a take a nap?" He didn't wait for an answer and just lay down there. Though Vegeta notices that she was sniffing the bed and giggling.
'Is she a pervert?' He shook his head and decided to ignore that and went do his business.
And for that he will probably needed help from Jaco. Since he is here with Tights for a time, he must already know about the situation.
So he went out and called Jaco inside. He almost had to drag the guy out of his ship since he was still a bit afraid. Jaco found this prince to be a bit too scary.
"Spill what is happening on this planet? In normal circumstances, it should be already conquered by Cooler." Vegeta asked, since normally the planet should be already in Cooler hands. He is known to only attack strong planets, but yet he never takes much time to conquer them , usually destroying everything on the planet including the people that live there. Of course, they wouldn't be strong enough to fend off his forces for so long.
When Vegeta was entering the planet, he could feel that this one was strong but still not enough to put a dent in Cooler force.
"Don't know, don't ask" Jaco shrugged his shoulders. But when Vegeta frowned, he quickly went to give him whatever information he had.
"!!Ok...I really don't know why the reason, but it seems that they want most, if not all the civilian inhabitants alive. Don't know if he wants to sell the planet like this, or if he wants to use them and the planet as a base" Jaco was a bit confused about the situation too. Normally, they would name the planet after them, use it and sell it. Or for planets that they find useful, they would just add it to their empire.
So he thought that this time Cooler was planing something. And with the rumor about Frieza's death, maybe he is planning something different.
Vegeta comes to a similar conclusion, since he knows for sure that Frieza and his father were dead. So, by rights, all of the empire is now Cooler's. But with a danger looming on the horizon, because now there is someone out there that could probably be stronger than him.
"Isn't it because of the Sky Gold, Jaco?" An almost sleepy voice came from Tighs. Jaco almost went there to put a tape in her mouth. Like always, she's unaware of all the danger that her big month brings them.
"Sky gold? I remember hearing that somewhere". Vegeta was trying to remember when he heard that. A little perk from knowing both the past and the future, some memories became a little weird.
So turning to look at them, Tights explained" Blue Aurum, or on earth Sky Gold. It's a sort of rare material that can be used to fuel all sorts of machines. And it's pretty valuable on Earth and some other planets too."
"It is a dangerous material if it falls into the wrong hands, like Cooler's. This planet just has a lot of them and it was discovered a few years ago. Unfortunately, we can't do anything right now to stop it." Jaco said, a bit regretful. Sure he was afraid of Cooler, but it was supposed to be the Patrol duty to stop things like that from happening in the first place.
"What more can it do? How high does it sell on Earth?" Vegeta became interested in the material. Just at the time that he needs something to become rich.
Tighs looked at Jaco. She has a bit of knowledge about it since the material was on Earth too, but Jaco may know more than her about this. Jaco sighs and explains.
"They probably can build some weapons too, like planet bomb or something."
Tights came to add a little bit too. "And they are sold pretty high on Earth too, like if you have a few grams of them you could become rich overnight. It has some there too, but it's a lot more rare and hard to find."
Vegeta started to ponder. He can complete his objective right here on this planet. And also this thing with Sky Gold. He remembers that there was a time that Cooler was after fuel for his Big Star project.
'Maybe it's here that the prototype starts?' He thought for a bit.
Well, he will have to confirm in any way. So he can kill him, loot everything and go back to his training. Easy plan.
"I see."
"So you have a plan?" Jaco asked, a bit curious.
"Go there and kill him. And kill everyone that tries to stop me" Vegeta reply without too much care, which made Jaco almost comically drop right there. He talks about killing Cooler so easily that he will actually start to believe him.
Jaco knows that Vegeta may be strong, but against Cooler... That is a hard wall there.
Tights on the other hand, didn't understand power level so he giggles a little bit about what he had just said and stood up from bed.
"Since you already have a plan, I'll be going with you. I want to take a look at this Cooler guy", she said with high curiosity. Which prompted Vegeta to see how much more these 2 sisters look alike. She has a bit of the courageous dumb from Bulma, though she has a more ''cool'' air around her.
"Stay here. There's food and a bed. If you start throwing yourself at these things, you will die someday". He said to her, it would be problematic if she started to follow him every place. For some reason, Tights stopped a little bit and came closer to stopping at his face. She started to observe his expression.
"Hmm, yeah I definitely want to write about you and your adventures." She smiled easily. " And also what's a better reference, then follow the person itself hehe."
He gave a hard gaze at her and she was still with that easy smile, like she doesn't perceive the danger or just doesn't care. "I see. You're a big girl, so do what you like" After saying this, he started to walk outside.
She gave a brighter smile this time, though he didn't saw that. And started to follow behind him, with Jaco at his tail too.
