Capítulo 36: Tears.
CRACK!
"What is that sound?" Sir Lancelin asked.
"It comes from the portal, is it closing?" Ousuke asked.
"That seems to be the case" Master Zach added.
"What? So soon?" Malcolm mumbled in shock!
BOOM!
Suddenly a large figure could be seen from the other side, it uses its imposing power and stop the portal from closing, it is fierce and imposing unlike anything they have fought so far!
"Dammit! It's him!" Malcolm cursed and already has the thought of escaping.
That is not an entity that he is willing to fight now, this beast- No, this is no beast, it is beyond the level of beast, it is a fully sentinel chaotic entity, gaining its pleasure from the carnage, chaos and war!
"Let's finish this quick!" Master Zach said.
"The two demons are already in an enrage state" Sir Lancelin informed.
It could be seen from the red light in their eyes and the overflowing killing intent so strong and thick that it is suffocating!
"Wind" Sir Lancelin said softly.
Suddenly a white horse appeared with wings and a golden mane flowing elegantly, it is a Pegasus descendant with some decent bloodline purity, it is one of the reasons Sir Lancelin is feared across the land!
Without further ado, Sir Lancelin mount his horse and call back his floating lance, he grab it and is now fully ready for this battle, he is going all out!
"Leave the centaur to me" Sir Lancelin said with determination in his eyes.
"We are going to exchange opponents while helping each other, battle is not only about strength, the most important is coordination and teamwork" Master Zach said.
The atmosphere is even tenser now that the giant demonic entity is gazing at them from the other side of the portal while he refuse to let it closed!
Whoosh!
Neigh!
The horse neigh as it charges towards the three enemies, Master Zach and Ousuke also charged at the beasts!
The centaur felt enrage and use his powerful lower body to charge towards Lancelin!
Clank!
The centaur's lance collided with Lancelin's shield almost throwing him OFF but the shield release a brilliant golden light At the last moment which fend the attack off!
The force of the collision with the shield send vibration through the hand of the centaur, Sir Lancelin didn't waste time because he knows an opportunity when he sees one, he jump toward the centaur from his horse!
"Golden retribution!"
Sir Lancelin's shield produced an intense golden light again as he collided with the beast's face!
The force is so intense that it threw the centaur off balance, Sir Lancelin landed elegantly and unsheathe his sword while the lance hover above his head ready to strike whenever he wished!
'It will take it a while before this fight end' Sir Lancelin thought and decided to seize this opportunity to strike while it is still off-balance!
Whoosh!
The sword shone with golden light as well as it wheeze through the air to strike at the centaur!
The centaur saw the attack coming his way and decided to quickly get up!
The centaur is back on its feet but there's no way he will block that attack at this point so it made an attempt to dodge it!
Pshh!
The sound of blood spraying is heard, at the last moment sir Lancelin's feet are covered in golden light and thus his speed increased, the attack connected and easily cut through the side of the centaur like a hot knife cutting through tofu!
"ROAR!"
The centaur roared in pain from Sir Lancelin's attack earlier, its eyes is overflowing with rage as it raise its lance to destroy this puny human!
Sir Lancelin jumped to the side and almost got hit from one of the enrage demons, the demon's body is covered in brutal sword strikes, Ousuke just happened to dodge too and he found himself to the path of the centaur!
They both nodded at each other with a knowing look, they have already decided, they have exchange the opponents for now!
Swish!
A thin wound appeared on the centaur's body, its eyes reveal it's surprised as it does not know how it happened!
"Calm, its Qi you can't sense it" Ousuke calmly said as he created more of it, to be honest he prefer fighting this centaur, the rage demons jump around too much which make it harder to hit them with the Qi blades!
SWISH!
Malcolm is about to lie when he is hit by a flying knife!
"ARGH!" He turn around with rage in his eyes and glare at the assailant, it is a blue hair young man and it is indeed Auryn!
An evil grin appeared on Malcolm's face while a panicked expression appeared on Master Zach's face!
"Rising phoenix slash!" The sword on Master Zach's hand released a hum as he slash upward with it, it released an extremely hot flames!
Screech!
A phoenix cry is heard, the rage demon is instantly burned to crisp, Master Zach's body is covered in flames as he dash towards Auryn's direction with speed that will put any of the onlookers present to shame!
"That kid is very precious to you huh?" Malcolm grinned as large amount of dark energy ooze out of him at the same time the wounded Centaur suddenly leave Ousuke and run towards Auryn!
A ghastly bone hand grabbed Auryn's leg and body completely subduing him in place!
'With time I can break it but I don't have any!' Auryn thought as he panicked!
The large mass of dark energy that is about to collide with them was blocked by a blazing phoenix, Master Zach that is running towards Auryn cough out blood on the way but nonetheless he kept running towards him!
The pain that Auryn has been waiting for never arrives, he opened his eyes to see a smiling old face.
"N-No… Why…" Auryn felt a feeling he never felt as war liquid flows from his eyes!
Sir Lancelin is enraged and run towards the centaur, his golden lance produced light the likes of which it never did and when it collided with the centaur, it completely blast him to pieces!
"Lancel-cough- this is your- junior brothe- keep him safe" Master Zach instructed.
"Why will you do that for me? Why… will you leave me…?" Auryn felt a stinging pain in his heart as he asked, he never feel something as painful as that'
"I don't deserve that… what good have I ever done to you for you to do this…" Auryn felt something running down his cheek, it is tears!
Auryn shed tears for the first time in his two lives!
"Foolish child- you deserve everything - just survive*cough* and live a good life, save as many people as you can, don't you dare die anytime soon" Master Zach smiled.
Auryn inspected the wound with teary eyes, the wound is a large on closed to his heart and the lance seems to have penetrated through his other side from the back!
"N-no I-I will save you!" Auryn said but Master Zach did not replied instead he just smiled.
"System! Save him please!!! No matter what or how just save him!"

"Just do it!" Auryn tears flowed trickle down his cheek as he felt how painful it is to lose a loved one for the first time!
