Capítulo 149: Capture Nanabi
In the depths of the forest near the Hidden Waterfall village, a vibrant and spirited teenage girl with layered mint-green hair cheerfully wandered through the serene trees. Her orange pupils darted around, eagerly searching for something that would catch her interest and alleviate her boredom.
As she moved gracefully, her short white apron skirt fluttered about, revealing glimpses of fishnet shorts underneath. Completing her unique outfit was a sleeveless white midriff shirt, adorned with a fishnet armor layer, along with long white armlets. A cylindrical red object was strapped to her back, and her forehead guard was worn on her right arm.
Her name was Fu, a kunoichi hailing from Takigakure. Despite her village's emphasis on caution and secrecy, Fu's carefree nature led her to disregard the warnings of her fellow villagers, often sneaking out whenever she grew bored.
Even for ordinary ninjas, venturing outside the village presented risks, but for Fu, the stakes were higher.
For she was the Jinchuriki of the seven tails, Nanabi, a power coveted by many ninjas. Though she should have been kept well-protected and hidden, it seemed that Takigakure's leader did not adopt a strict approach to confining a young girl.
Thus, Fu roamed freely, her happy-go-lucky outlook on life often leading her into trouble. And this time was no exception.
Sporting a mischievous grin, Fu cast her eyes towards the shadows of the trees, her excitement evident as she called out, "You've been following me for days, haven't you? Don't be scared and come out, ssu!"
Emerging from the shadows was a ninja with an average, unfamiliar face, yet his forehead guard signifying his affiliation with Takigakure.
Fu tilted her head, observing her fellow ninja, but confusion lingered in her eyes. "I don't recall seeing you around the village."
"Miss Fu, it is dangerous out here. Shibuki-sama has ordered me to watch over you and bring you back to the village," the ninja stated, retrieving a scroll and presenting it to Fu.
Upon hearing this, Fu pouted, her hand reaching out to accept the scroll without a hint of caution. "Is this your order? Or could it be... a mission, ssu?"
However, as Fu unfurled the scroll, a cloud of smoke billowed forth, causing her to instinctively toss the scroll aside and cough. "What is this ssu?!"
As the smoke dissipated, Fu fixed her gaze upon a man donning a black trench coat with peculiar giant insects clinging to his body, his hand swiftly completing a seal, "Summoning Technique!"
With a poof, a thick cloud of smoke engulfed the forest. Yet, Fu's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she remained rooted in place. "Nani? Nani? What game is this ssu?"
Step. Step. Step. With each deliberate step, the dissipating smoke revealed the arrival of two alluring figures. Their petite frames were adorned in tight, black leather bikini armor, accentuating their curves. Demonic masks concealed the top half of their faces, while a flowing black cloak draped over their backs, completing their assassin outfit, a style much less conservative than those of normal ninjas.
Fu tilted her head, her eyes alight with a glimmer of happiness as she addressed the twins before her. "Did you come to be my friend, ssu?"
However, in an instant, Fu seemed to have been warned of danger looming, causing insect wings to sprout from her back. Flapping rapidly, she swiftly shifted her body sideways, narrowly evading a set of chains that burst forth from the ground.
Twirling around as she rushed into the air, Fu swept her gaze towards another figure, a clone of the man clad in a trench coat, who had arrived at an unknown time, clearly responsible for the attack.
"Who are all of you, ssu?" With a grin on her face, Fu's voice carried a tinge of defiance as she hovered in the air, her gaze fixed upon the assailants.
It seemed the realization finally dawned upon her that they were not here with friendly intentions.
But it was too late. A female voice came from behind her, responding with cold determination. "There's no need for you to know."
As the words echoed in Fu's ears, an overwhelming force ensnared her body, akin to a binding rope. Her chakra abruptly stagnated, causing the wings on her back to fade away.
Falling to the ground, Fu's vision distorted, and soon she found herself immobilized by strange chains encircling her body. Despite her futile struggles, she couldn't break free. She pouted unhappily as her eyes followed the chains, ultimately fixing upon a striking woman with long red hair who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere like a ghost. "Where did you come from, big sis? How did Fu not notice, ssu?"
The opponent disregarded her query, adhering to the notion that speaking too much would only lead to trouble. Swiftly channeling her chakra, she began to weave hand signs, her hand slamming directly towards Fu's exposed belly. "Four Symbols Seal!"
As the seal was applied as a supplement, another faint seal was briefly revealed underneath. Fu's brow furrowed in pain, but it was soon replaced by a sense of panic. "No, why can't I feel-"
Before Fu could utter another word, a needle jutted forth from the red-haired woman's palm, piercing Fu's neck. A strange drowsy sensation coursed through Fu's body as a foreign substance was injected, and moments later, her consciousness began to fade away.
"Well done, Karina," the man in the black trench coat praised as he approached, the two masked beauties following closely behind. In his hand, he held a scroll, which he used to efficiently pack away the corpses of the nearby ninja guards that had been dealt with.
Karina smirked, tightening the chains that bound Fu even further. "Easier than expected, my dear. This one is still just a naive little girl. But Kano, are you sure you don't want to add her to your harem?"
Shino, disguised as Kano, surveyed Fu's petite frame and tomboyish yet beautiful face, knowing the unique experience she could offer. However, he shook his head firmly. "It was already decided from the beginning. Not just anyone can be my queen. Only the useful ones are worthy, and Fu, with her naive and reckless personality, only seeking to satisfy her own boredom instead of working hard, is certainly not welcome under my command."
"And as for her performance in other activities, I already have a better alternative now," Shino declared, his arm wrapped around Ying as his hand roamed over her petite, perky round assets, partially concealed by her assassin outfit, while he handed her the scroll in his other hand.
"Are you sure, my dear? Don't you want a taste of what she has to offer before I proceed with the necessary procedures? After all, if the experiment fails, she'll be gone forever," Karina tempted once more.
"There's no need for further discussion, Karina. Take her to the prepared base. Let's complete the harvest before anyone becomes suspicious," Shino commanded, gesturing towards the hidden overlord in the sky.
With chakra wings sprouting from her back through her usage of the adapted Mysterious Peacock Method, Karina pouted unhappily. "My dear is so impatient to send me away. Is my dear planning to have fun with your little maid while I'm away?"
Shino playfully rubbed Karina's nose. "Jealous again, my little goblin? Well, then hurry up and complete the sealing. Once you return after sealing the Seven Tails, I'll make sure to fill you with love."
A smile curved Karina's lips as she agreed, "That's a deal, my dear!"
With a sense of urgency, Karina swiftly ascended into the sky, carrying the unconscious Fu with her. Below, Ying pressed herself against Kano, whispering seductively, "Master, summon me back. Ying will fulfill her duty and keep master entertained while mistress is away."
Shino's calm voice resonated as he regarded Ying, admiring her new shadow guard outfit, "Naughty."
Ying playfully stuck out her tongue. "Ying is only naughty for master. Does master not like it?"
Shino reached out, petting Ying's head. "Of course, I like it. But not now. My clones need to assist with the transportation, and we must rendezvous with Karina on the other side to ensure nothing goes wrong during the transfer process to our container. And we don't know if Zetsu will report this capture to Pain, so we must remain vigilant."
Ying blinked her eyes playfully, placing her finger on her lip. "But master, mistress's journey will be very long."
In silence, Shino stared at Ying with intensity for a while before waving his hand, deactivating his genjutsu domain, causing Yakumo and Ying to fade away.
Left alone in the forest, Shino gazed into the cloudy sky, hands clasped behind his back. "I feel sorry for ruining an innocent girl like her, but she is simply meeting her original fate, only earlier."
Pushing aside his remorse, Shino shifted his attention to his Reed clone, standing dutifully nearby, awaiting his orders. "Go. Prepare yourself for the next battle."
"The decision to fight must always be the final option," Reed reminded solemnly.
Shino shrugged. "To save our worlds, we have no other choice."
Reed let out a sigh before extending his hands, allowing them stretch out and grab onto the trees before propelling himself into the air. As he soared into the air, he spread his limbs while parts of his body stretched and flattened, allowing him to glide forward like a flying squirrel.
As Reed disappeared from sight, Shino couldn't help but chuckle softly. "Poor fellas like him exist as well. Perhaps the day he discovers the truth will be the day of his reset."
With those final words, Shino's body transformed into a mass of bugs, dispersing as the hidden zerg battery sunk into the ground, hiding itself and ready to launch an ambush to eliminate any pursuers that dared to investigate.
