"You have to confiscate the laptop," was Gray's first remark as soon as Dominic closed the door. "He shouldn't be playing with that thing."
Dominic arched a brow, facing him slowly. "That's strange," he pointed out. "I thought you'd asked me to be lenient and save him from getting a timeout."
"I would, but not in this case." Gray shook his head. "Hera left for a reason. Anyone with her dies."
"Everybody dies."
"But not as cruel as those innocent bystanders." A deep exhale escaped Gray, looking at Dominic worriedly. "I don't know if she told you this, but anyone she talks to or encounters anywhere in the world earns a target board on their back. It doesn't matter if he or she is a bartender where she drinks, a bystander whom she asked for directions, or someone she bumps into a crowd."
