"That's really weird." Axel rubbed his chin, unable to shake the thought that Moose had disappeared today.

Having spent time with Moose, Axel had grown familiar with Moose's antics. Moose was not the type to simply leave without a word, especially when most members of the board respected him. It was one of his charms and what he called his work ethic. Hence, Axel couldn't get it out of his head.

"Lester, did you find out if Mr. M had an emergency?" Axel turned to his assistant seated in the front passenger seat. "Or did he respond to your calls?"

Lester, Axel's assistant, glanced back at Axel. "Unfortunately, we couldn't reach Director M. I tried reaching out to his assistant, but all I got was that he had to attend to a prior commitment. Hence, he left without a word."

"A prior commitment, huh?" Axel furrowed his brows, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "That's even more peculiar."

"Are you worried about Mr. M, sir?"
