"Mommy, did I do a good job?" Sebastian perked up, making Heaven pause in tucking him in. The latter smiled helplessly, stroking his hair gently.
"Basti, Mommy only told you to be careful, not to play spy," she said, narrowing her eyes playfully. "Don't do something that can harm you, okay? Mommy and Daddy will do their best, so what happened will never happen again."
The little master's lips stretched into a wide smile.
"But I like it!" he said. "It's fun to watch Uncle Silas lie while I already know the truth! He doesn't pay attention to me. If only he did, then he would know I already read those books he gave me and that I put a one-star review on all of them!"
"Oh, Basti." Heaven burst out in laughter. She shook her head. Her son was surely a mischievous one.
"Uncle Axel is much better. At least, even if he gifts me toys I will never use, my friends like them. It helps me make friends."
