Capítulo 158: Don't ever get hurt for me

"Ugh…" Heaven winced the second she regained consciousness. Her eyes were still closed, but her face was crumpled, forcing her eyes to open. 

'Where am I?' she wondered as the ceiling slowly came clearer, recognizing its unfamiliarity. 'Aw, aw. My side…'

Her eyes popped open as she realized she wasn't in the master's bedroom. She tried getting up on instinct, still a little confused, only to feel a hand gently press her shoulder down.

"Don't stand," Dominic advised with a soothing voice, making Heaven shift her attention to him. "You're in the hospital — you are safe now."

His voice was calm, and his eyes were soft as if he was relieved beyond words. Heaven furrowed her brows, still a little confused because of the medication in her system. 

'Right…' she thought, mentally rocking her head. 'I stabbed myself.'
