"I can't believe I passed out," Devon muttered as he staggered his way down the road with both of his hands in his pocket.

The sky was almost completely dark which meant that all the shops in the area that could afford crystal lights had turned them on to attract customers and those who couldn't afford them or just didn't want to waste money on them had turned on their lamps.

He woke up a few minutes before Elena to find her unconscious on the floor, he got worried at first and rushed over to check if she was okay.

He let out a sigh of relief after confirming that she was okay, but he didn't bother waking her up, he knew that would lead to him staying there for a while longer and he didn't want that.

He could have just teleported straight home, but he needed to buy something for someone, and that was why he was heading down the street now.
