Capítulo 58: Interview in the Car

Scarlett's schedule was pretty packed. From Monday to Saturday mornings, she was locked in for tutoring at the Zhou residence. Monday to Wednesday afternoons were also booked solid. She used to be busy on Thursdays and Fridays too, but Lucius had helped her offload a client. So, aside from the weekends, she had two free afternoons.

One Friday afternoon, Scarlett was at the office when she got a call from Elijah Brooks.

He asked, "You're at the office, right?"

Scarlett replied, "Yeah, I'm here."

Elijah said, "Cool, I'm coming up."

His sudden visit took Scarlett by surprise. But after being subjected to Lucius's frequent drop-ins, the folks at Hart were pretty much unfazed by anything. At most, they'd just chalk up another point for Scarlett's growing list of achievements.

Elijah was there to sign the official contract. Scarlett suggested, "How about we do a trial period first?"

Elijah chuckled, "No need, I trust you."
