The trio groaned, but Alex finished with a wide smile, "We are no longer together. We ended it."

Alex chuckled, "I don't do long-term relationships. We hit it off and discovered we are not the best for each other. So, we decided to break it off. After all, it is our happiness that matters."
Declan smirked as if something amazed him. Mia couldn't help but wonder what sort of man Alex was. He was way different from Declan, yet they were best friends. If they were, then there was something good about Alex. He might just be hiding under the Playboy attitude. Before Mia could say anything, Sheila spoke,
"Don't you think she would be too heartbroken? I feel sorry for Fiona."
Alex smirked, "Don't worry. She isn't like that. She is more than glad that everything is over."
Declan cleared his throat, "This celebration is for Mia. Can we stop talking about Fiona?"
