Capítulo 70: Portal is now active

The final boss of the Abandoned Mines was a monstrous kobold king, easily thrice the size of his underlings, with scars marring his rugged body, and two vicious axes clutched in his gnarled hands. His eyes, glowing with a deadly fire, locked onto Kaden and his minions.

The boss was level 45, a full fifteen levels higher than Kaden, but the disparity in level did not matter.

Kaden was currently decked in many Fine grade items and he had a hefty team of minions. Umbra, Scrap, Imp 1 and Terror were already at level 8.

The fight began with a swift charge from the kobold king, his axes raised high, ready to strike. Kaden ordered Abyss Terror to intercept the boss, using his large form to block the initial attack.

The impact was powerful, but Abyss Terror stood its ground, its sturdy body absorbing the brunt of the attack.

Kaden and his other minions did not waste any time. The dark bolts from the two imps sizzled menacingly in the dim light of the dungeon.
