As everyone turned towards the sound, they saw the Alliance's chief, the young man in a duckbill cap, and the man in steel armor walk into the hall together and take their places at the center of the hall.

"Has everyone arrived?" The chief looked at his watch, "Your Highness, would you check for us?"

"A total of... fifteen people," the young man in the duckbill cap quickly counted, "all here."

The man in steel armor frowned, "Weren't we supposed to have seventeen?"

"With me, sixteen," the young man in the duckbill cap said as he rubbed his face, "Plus you, seventeen. Dumbass."

"Oh. That makes seventeen," the man in steel armor nodded in understanding.
