Capítulo 345: Fired (2)

"Please don't tell me that after an hour has passed, you have not heard the news from Mavis or one of the other maids? Surely you must know by now that I am meant to sit here or are you just going to play stupid to annoy me early in the morning?" Annalise asked as she straightened out her dress.

She wasn't in the mood to listen to Aria being upset about her being picked as Beatrice's maid then Rafael's and now she was sitting at the table. There was enough time apart for Aria to have moved on. They were once friends after all. Annalise had moved on from this the moment Aria started to act differently. 

If the friendship meant anything, Aria should let her feelings from not getting picked go, but from the frown Annalise saw, that wouldn't happen.
