A New Beginning: Not Really!

Jack woke up with Lily lying beside him, warm and breathing. Placing his chin on her head, he felt grateful to have her in his arms once again. Holding Lily, with their baby growing in her womb, felt like a dream – a dream he was determined to turn into a beautiful reality filled with love.

With a mission in his mind, Jack stood up and entered the bathroom. Rushing out after a quick shower, he applied his body lotion and picked out a polo shirt and sweatpants. Emerging from his room, a passing staff member greeted him, "Good morning Sir!"

"Good morning to you," He responded. Jack couldn't help but smile. Lily had given him a reason to smile, a reason to be happy.

As he descended the stairs, he encountered Camily. "Good morning, Camily," Jack greeted.

Camily smiled back and remarked, "You look happy."
