Lily woke up to the sound of birds singing sweetly in the sky, The memory of last night still fresh on her mind, she smiled as she pressed her hand against her mouth to silence the giggles that were threatening to escape her lips, she didn't want to wake Jack from his slumber. She stretched her naked body on the bed, expecting to see Jack beside her but she was in for a big surprise.

He wasn't laying on the bed with her. His side of the bed was cold to her touch, Jack! Jack! She called. She was surprised and confused, Her mind refusing to register the fact that he had left.

Maybe he is in the bathroom, she thought. She rolled off the bed, calling his name as she walked towards the bathroom, her heart was beating fast against her ribcage. She was clinging to the last grasp of hope she had.
