An Elder Atlas in his wake.
Just one misstep is all it'd take.
Another day, he'd never make.
He was a Scout.
Never meant to fight.
He had stumbled
Upon the cursed thing that night.
And even if
Combating it was right,
To harm a hair
Would cost the man his life.
So he ran

He didn't dare look back.
He could feel it getting closer,
Feel each twig that snapped...
He pushed himself
He only had one shot.
He had to warn the other people,
put the village on lock.
So he ran.
