Skai blinked severally. 

Did two men just ask her out at the same time?

Her heart skipped a beat. From the little she knew of him, Jared was a kind guy, someone she genuinely looked forward to having his company. 

As annoying as he could be, deep down, Skai couldn't deny the fluttering in her stomach whenever she thought about Damien.

While she pondered her response, a notification beeped on her phone screen. It was another text message from Damien.

"Are you available, Skai?"

A wave of confusion washed over her. Two guys—two unexpected invitations, all at the same time. 

One was waiting for her answer, his voice filled with anticipation on the other end of the line. 

Meanwhile, the second's request, though casual, sent a thrill through her. Damien had stirred a whirlwind of emotions and unanswered questions in her right from their first meeting.
