Capítulo 17: Personal Secretary
He knew something like this would happen.
He had beauties around him, and both were a year ahead of him.
He did not want to deal with him so he threw the problem to the girls.
"Li Rou, can't you just reject Qi Feng? He's been hanging around you for so long."
Qi Feng was Li Rou's classmate since kindergarten and it was clear that he was in love with Li Rou.
The problem was that he had never confessed but he acted as if Li Rou was already his.
He would always rough up any boy who got close to her and because he came from a powerful family, he got away with everything.
His father had monopolized the timber supply to Jing while his mother was a manager of Randa Plaza.
His father had developed many connections and this gave him the capital to act unruly in Jing.
Of course, if the three young masters of Jing showed up, he would have to act humbly.
Li Rou's family, on the other hand, dealt with construction and real estate.
Her father was the CEO of the biggest construction company in Jing while her mother owned a real estate company though small.
They had worked with the Qi family and were considered friends.
The way things were going, it wouldn't be a surprise if Li Rou was married off to Qi Feng.
She had been thinking of this problem for a long time but had never found a solution.
Qi Feng was just too violent and overbearing, she didn't like him one bit.
She would have rejected his advances, if it did not involve her family.
She was cowardly and would even have a hard time talking to Qi Feng, how could she face two families?
Her mother could side with her but she held too little power, it wouldn't change anything.
It might even cause trouble for her parents.
Thinking up to this point, her eyes turned red and she was on the verge of tears.
She was in despair but did not know what to do.
Lu Fan's voice floated over.
"Huh??" Both Li Rou and Bai Anhe were startled.
"Become my secretary. Your work will be simple and I can bind you to a contract. You won't be married until you're 35." Lu Fan said what he had in mind.
His idea was pretty simple. Bind Li Rou to a contract and take this opportunity to get a capable assistant on his side.
He had taken a look at her stats a while ago and her potential was pretty good.
Her talents and looks were good and she would be able to take care of many things for him.
Her personality was also good. It fits well with Lu Fan's nature.
"What do you mean secretary? Do you have the ability to hire her?"
Lu Fan did not answer her.
He took out his phone and directly called Lilith.
After a while an electronic contract was sent over.
He gave his phone over to Li Rou.
"Read the contract, if you are comfortable with it, sign it."
Bai Anhe was dumbfounded.
For a contract to be able to stop the Qi and Li family, it had to come from a rather powerful company or organization.
And such an organization just sent a contract within a few minutes?
Who was Lu Fan?
"I also want a contract. I'll be your secretary."
"No thank you."
Li Rou could not believe what was happening.
From Bai Anhe's reaction, she knew that the contract was legit and she could use it to block the two families.
She was ecstatic then worried. Would she cause trouble for Lu Fan?
She did not have much time to think about it.
"I will sign it. But why is the pay area blank?" Li Rou couldn't help but ask.
"That's where you will write your salary."
Li Rou was left speechless.
How was she supposed to do that?
With all the trouble she would cause, she was even afraid that he wouldn't want her.
Now she had to fill in her salary?
Bai Anhe looked at Lu Fan as though a ghost.
She had more experience in this area. Her mother was a lawyer.
As for her father, she didn't know. All she knew was that he was rich and powerful.
Even her mother did not reveal anything about her father.
Lu Fan did not even indicate a range of figures.
Li Rou could very well ask for billions of blue dollars, would Lu Fan be able to provide them?
She wasn't sure. But with how nonchalant Lu Fan was, he probably will.
"Li Rou, once you sign this, you won't have the freedom to do anything. Every action you take will be in my name."
"I am willing. I will do anything you ask of me." Li Rou vowed solemnly.
"Anything?" Bai Anhe and Lu Fan asked at the same time.
Li Rou's face turned red.
"Anything!"
She was determined to change her fate.
After signing the contract, she could not help but look at Lu Fan she did not know what to write as her salary.
"Don't worry, you can fill in that spot later." Lu Fan took back his phone.

"What are all of you talking about?"
"Who is this?"
"Kid, I'd advise you to stay far away from my Li Rou, or you will be in trouble."
Qi Feng had been watching them for a long time now.
He walked over slowly so that he could see how Lu Fan would react.
It was known that he was overprotective of Li Rou.
Or should we say possessive? But that did not matter.
Lu Fan had seen him. They had even made eye contact, but he acted like he was not there.

He was about to explode from anger.

Lu Fan finished the last of his dish and got up to take the utensils away.
Qi Feng couldn't take it anymore.
He had to teach this snob a lesson.
