Its state of the art touch screen interface showcased an impressive compendium of melodies, accompanied by a supplementary, comprehensive book with numerical codes and a remote control, eagerly awaiting the participants selections.
The premium speakers, strategically affixed to the walls, pledged to transmit pristine, unadulterated audio, guaranteeing that each resonant note would be discerned and appreciated.
Christian meticulously perused the pages of the leather bound book, thoughtfully choosing a melodious composition to perform.
Elma, seated gracefully beside him, observed his every move with an inquisitive and enigmatic gaze.
Meanwhile, Sharmaine, her voluminous eyelashes framing her expressive eyes, expertly snapped a series of captivating selfies and captured the room's ambiance in a collection of evocative photographs.
"Michael, which Event are you currently in the Netorare game?" Jonas inquired, settling into the seat beside him.
"I just defeated the boss controlling the hordes in Event II. How about you?" Michael responded.
"I've advanced to Event X on the Hero Route. Did you know there's an exclusive package available? However, it comes with a hefty price tag," Jonas revealed.
Michael's curiosity was piqued. "What are you referring to?"
"You can unlock Yuri Content within the Hero Route, but it'll set you back $200, which is nearly 12,000 pesos." Jonas explained.
Michael's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's hella expensive! I'd much rather invest that sum in a new pair of shoes or some high quality bike components," he declared emphatically.
Suddenly, a man seated next to Michael spoke up, finding himself sandwiched between his friends. Andrei inquired with a hint of curiosity, "What game is that?" He took a sip from his vivid orange beverage.
Meanwhile, Christian had chosen a song and was now passionately singing, while Elma flipped through the songbook, engaged in a lively conversation with Sharmaine. Their laughter filled the air with warmth and camaraderie.
"It's called Netorare Game. Haven't you heard of it?" Jonas asked.
"No, I've been focusing on my farming games and playing The Sims," Andrei admitted.
Jonas furrowed his brow and warned, "Well, you might not want to try it. It could be quite traumatizing."
Andrei scoffed at the notion, his confidence unwavering. "Me? Traumatized? It's just a game, bro. I won't be affected by it."
Jonas flashed an eerie smile, which swiftly disappeared as he spoke with a hint of intrigue, "Very well, if you insist."
Michael interjected, "Andrei, perhaps we should switch seats."
"Agreed," Andrei replied, and the two men traded places, engaging in an animated discussion about the game's intricacies.
Elma deftly pressed the remote's button, her gaze fixed intently on the screen. Sharmaine, noticing Michael nearby, flashed him a warm smile. "Michael, we've finished with the songbook," she announced, gracefully extending the well worn book towards him.
Michael eagerly accepted the songbook, his fingers dancing across the pages as he eagerly sought out his own selection.
Christian's melodious voice filled the room with a rich, resonant tone, "But now there's nowhere to hide ~ ♪… Since you pushed my love aside ~ ♪… I'm out of my head ~ ♪… Hopelessly devoted to you ~ ♪…"
Michael glanced up, gently nudging Andrei's shoulder with his elbow, and whispered, "How many trophies has Christian won in singing contests?"
Andrei regarded Michael thoughtfully before responding, "Numerous, I believe. He's participated in 'The Voice,' 'Luzon Got Talent,' 'Idol of Nation,' and many other competitions. He's widely regarded as the finest male vocalist in our city."
Michael offered a subtle nod of admiration for Christian's accomplishments, then returned his attention to the songbook, its pages filled with lyrical treasures.
As he carefully flipped through the pages, he selected a song and aimed the sleek remote at the screen, and with a click, activating the reserved chosen track.
Gracefully, Michael handed the songbook to Andrei, who eagerly delved into its contents alongside Jonas, their eyes scanning the pages with keen interest.
Having concluded his masterful performance, Christian passed the wireless microphone to an eager Elma, who was visibly excited to take her turn at singing.
Michael, Andrei, and Jonas turned their gazes to the screen, where the title "Lovefool" appeared, setting the stage for Elma's performance.
As Elma's melodious voice filled the room, the trio couldn't shake an unsettling feeling of impending danger.
Christian, however, seemed oblivious to the tension, sipping his drink with a contented smile. Andrei, focused on choosing a song, pressed the remote and handed the songbook to Jonas.
Elma's melodious voice resonated throughout the room as she sang with heartfelt emotion, "So I cry and I pray and I beg ~ ♪..." Her eyes, filled with a peculiar fervor, became fixated on Christian.
In the meantime, Christian's attention was directed towards his friends, specifically Andrei, Michael, and Jonas. He shot them a quizzical glance as Jonas handed him the songbook.

Jonas's elbow gently nudged Andrei's shoulder, just as Andrei's elbow prodded Michael's. Leaning in, Jonas whispered, "As I see it I must retract my previous statements about Yandere."
Andrei swallowed nervously and replied, "Yeah... It may be an intriguing concept in a fantasy world, but in reality, it's far more terrifying than I ever imagined."
Michael observed Christian, seemingly oblivious to Elma's unsettling gaze. He mused to himself, 'A possessive woman, perhaps? I must admit, I find it somewhat appealing, being an ardent fan of Esdeath.'
Sensing Michael's thoughts, Andrei inquired, "What's on your mind, Michael?"
Michael regarded him with a serene expression, responding, "I'm considering purchasing some catnip for Grey."
Andrei arched an eyebrow and asked with incredulity, "Hmm... Really?"
Michael offered a subtle nod to Andrei before turning his attention back to the screen.
Elma had just finished her song, and with a smile, she handed the microphone to Sharmaine.
