Netorare Game: Consequences of Choice has attracted considerable criticism from numerous players due to the extreme measures one must take when following a chosen route.
It offers five distinct routes to choose from: [Slave Route], [Hero Route], [Manipulator Route], [Seduction Route], and [Shadow Route]. Additionally, there are multiple endings, including Death Endings, True Endings, and Secret Endings.
Sucura pondered, 'I didn't see the [Shadow Route] in the castle, though,' as he lay naked in the bathtub.
'I only know a little about him. He's the guy who operates in the shadows, appearing weak but actually strong, and he's contracted with a witch.'
The storyline is straightforward: an ancient calamity is looming on the horizon. The Holy Triumvirate Empire, through its prophets and divinations, foresees that seven heroes must rise to protect the people and vanquish all adversaries. Consequently, they set out to assemble these heroes. The five kingdoms, including the Kingdom of Daichetus, place their faith in the Holy Empire's prophecies and divinations, and thus join forces in this endeavor.
Two Npc Heroes and 5 playable routes, the game progresses from Event I: The Start of Adventures to Event X: The Ancient Calamity.
However, one route deviates from this pattern.
'If I recalled my astute gamer friend Jonas mentioning the [Hero Route] had unique content. From Event I to Event X, the Hero Route is filled with pure tragedy, as if the world is conspiring against him. This has led to few players choosing this path and berating the devs.
Nevertheless, persevering through the Hero Route rewards a vanilla content in Event XI, and plus two special events which Event XII and Event XIII.'
After discovering this, many players switched to the [Hero Route] and glorify the devs for the exceptional emotional depth, graphics, narrative and gameplay.
'As for me, I played the [Slave Route] and reached the midpoint at Event VI, but I decided to switch to the [Hero Route]. Unfortunately, I've only completed Event IV. Why am I taking it slow?'
Sucura's eyes grew distant as he gazed at the ceiling.
'I have a life, after all. I've barely played this game; I was just attracted by the enticing graphics and curious about the stories. I have wonderful friends, family, and a cat. I miss his fluffy fur; it's my anti-stressor. I missed all of them,' he shook his head and sighed inwardly.
As he thought of his newly gained skill from [Rebirth], the corner of his lips twitched inadvertently.
Rebirth was introduced at Event VI in the game, and the cooldown reduction of the skill is one Event.
Sucura made a self-deprecating laugh and said internally, "I thought I would gain legendary or mythical skills like other transmigrator protagonists, such as Reality Bending, Law of Causation, Necromancy, Spatial Magic, Telekinesis, System, Dimensionalism, Synthesis, and so on."
"Due to my delusional thinking, My gamble failed. I should have listened to my gut feelings…" he ruefully said as he looked at his newly acquired 3 skills.

"Devoid of both offensive magic and defensive magic, pretty vulnerable in all aspects of arcane arts, and I can't see my attributes nor mana capacity either. Hahahahaha," he laughed at his decision. As the laughter died down, he exclaimed, "Fuck this shit!"
"Damn, uttering curses while maintaining a sense of calm is quite an invigorating experience. I must appear rather unhinged, or rather psychotic."
As he contemplated the reason behind his survival from Vyn's lethal strike earlier, despite the evident disparity in their abilities, a realization dawned upon him. 'Ah, I had overlooked the fact that Vyn possesses the [Strength Domain (Unique Rank)] skill, which enables him to perceive an individual's innate power and manipulate his own strength at will.'
Unique Rank skills can only be acquired during the game. They may be obtained through innate abilities, critical quests, or significant quests provided by NPCs. Importantly, these skills cannot be purchased with money.
'There is one peculiar thought that I cannot shake: why am I unable to see Vyn's level? Could he be a transmigrator or something of that nature? No, my intuition assures me that he is indeed Vyn. However, there must be something more to this situation.'
As he contemplated this, he casually swept his hair back and glanced at the skill descriptions he possessed.

'What does this total experience mean? Why haven't I leveled up even though it's been a few hours? And where is their location? There's no map screen or any indication.' Sucura had a multitude of questions. 'Perhaps a medium or something is required?'
Sucura stood up, allowing the water to drip down before leaving the bathroom. After changing into fresh clothes, he rummaged through his backpack. He discovered some accessories, likely of sentimental value, as they didn't display any special effects. He also found the fruits he had purchased earlier, grabbing one and munching on it with a satisfying chomp. Additionally, he came across some empty parchments and a few extra coins.
He sat down and began writing something important on the parchments. He sighed inwardly, "I need so much money. I have to buy a dimensional ring, but it costs at least 1000 gold coins…" He continued to mutter various thoughts under his breath.
After attending to the matter at hand, Sucura collapsed onto the bed and pondered, 'Perhaps when I wake up, I'll see my gray cat waking me as he always does, or be called by one of my family members or friends. This situation is overwhelming; it feels entirely surreal.'
His eyes grew heavy, and as they nearly closed, he whispered, "Mother, I miss you." With that, his eyes shut completely, and he drifted off into the realm of dreams.
