'It was aimed at my heart, but I managed to move away… Just what was that?!'

It would be a lie to say Dale was in the dark about what had happened; however, everything transpired so fast that he was still struggling to understand what he witnessed.

Within a moment, all of the energy within the Overseer's body condensed unnaturally, defying everything he thought possible, gathering within his fingertips before it exploded in his direction.

The Overseer's target was originally his heart, but Dale barely managed to evade it.

Instead, it pierced through his shoulder, just a finger's length from completely missing him.
