Before long, everyone gathered together under the shade of a stone pillar in the middle of the Arena.

"Heh, I think I owe you an apology. I wasn't expecting you to carry on with my request." 

Dale immediately recognized the voice, it was the inmate from the cell next to his. It seemed he had indeed been chosen for this battle.

It was a good thing, since although Dale couldn't confirm if he was capable or not, it was still better then a complete random.

Above all, if they did not cooperate here, they would all die, so everyone, at least on the surface, was working together for their survival.

So once he confirmed who he was, he replied:

"Uhm… This works well for me as well, as long as we work together, at the very least, we should stand a chance."
