Henrik wore a smug smile as he gazed at her. "I must admit, I have yet to encounter someone as skilled as you in transforming difficult situations into something positive." They had just entered the Prince's study, and Eve wasted no time in settling comfortably on the couch, even propping up her legs on the plush cushion.

The Prince had insisted on relocating their conversation from her room to the study, citing the need to discuss "details." Throughout their journey, Eve grumbled about her exhaustion, but it appeared that her words fell on deaf ears, despite their keen sense of hearing.

Within moments, they reached the study, a journey that frustrated Eve to no end. Henrik broke the tension by offering her wine. "Are you hungry?" he asked.

Eve, her body yearning for sustenance after being deprived of sleep, replied, "I'm famished. Thank you for the offer, but I'd rather have something to appease my grumbling stomach."
