~ THIRD PERSON'S POV ~

The pink and oranges hues from the setting shade of the sun cast over Ares and Sera as they sat still under the tree.

Heavy silence fell between them after he had bared a part of his soul and laid his heart out in front of her. His each and every word repeated in Seraphina's mind like a broken record as she felt the immense gravity of his pain. 

Her bloodshot eyes fell on him, his dark eyes carrying the weight of the memories he had just shared. 

She opened her mouth to speak, but her throat closed up and she was unable to even utter a single sound, let alone offer him any words of....she herself was lost.

No words were spoken. Actually none were needed. The air seemed to hum with the unspoken understanding that passed between them.
