Third Person's POV
The entire empire is covered by a blanket of flames, dead bodies scattered everywhere, and explosions can be heard in different intervals along the sounds of swords clashing and cries of the knights who fell or lost someone dear.
The cause of this destruction are the soldiers who rose in rebellion against the Imperial family.
Meanwhile, inside the Garnet palace a heated battle is taking place. A death match between the current emperor; Anastacius de Alger Obelia and the second star of the empire; Amaris de Alger Obelia.
Their battle has lasted for hours and she is starting to push him back. Troubled and afraid of defeat, Anastacius let Aeternitas seize control of his body, causing an enormous wave of black magic was released that completely eradicated the entire empire and killed everyone in it save for the duelists.
The surge of black magic drained the emperor's reserves more than he expected, leaving him open. Amaris utilized this opening and decapitated her opponent and used most of her magic to destroy the soul of Aeternitas.
Then later on, forces of Siodonna and Arlanta arrived and soldiers of Arlanta foolishly attacked the princess and suffered countless casualties from it while the forces of Siodonna tried to make her stop, she reluctantly did after a few minutes. The princess later on died by the hand of the ruler of Siodonna, her own uncle.
And before she passed away she said; "You have done nothing wrong, thank you for fulfilling my selfish request... And please tell my mother that I am sorry for being selfish and leaving her behind, and that I will always love her"
After the war, the empire of Siodonna mourned the death of their princess.
Years passed quickly and the Obelian Empire became nothing more than a myth.

Amaris' POV
I hear different voices all over the place but I can't comprehend what they are saying. It's so noisy that I want to cover my ears but my movements seem to be limited for some reason. And I can feel myself being surrounded by warmth that seems to be coming everywhere.
Curious, I opened my eyes and I couldn't believe what I saw.
My mother, Diana, is looking down on me with a smile. "You, my darling daughter, shall be known as Amaris. My daughter, the child of the moon"
I feel like crying. My mother is here, the one person who loved me so much that she left me part of her magic so that I could talk to her whenever I wished. The sole person who stood by me when I needed someone to hold on to. My mother who taught me everything I know. My beloved mother.
And so I cried. I cried in the arms of my mother, letting out every single pain that I felt in the past. I cried, I cried in my mother's embrace basking on her warmth.
Then I felt it.
The same warmth I felt when she would comfort me, the touch of mother's magic. The same one she used to search my memories to know what was wrong.
Without a doubt, she already knew what happened to me.
I'm not alone anymore, she's with me. And I will patiently await her return.
With that in mind, I let slumber take my consciousness away.

Diana's POV
Amaris fell asleep after I let my magic flow through her. Oh my beloved daughter, I am so sorry for what your father has done. From now on I will make sure that not only Obelia is aware of your existence but by Siodonna too.
It will be your choice to tell your story but, I will make sure that they welcome you and treat you the way that they treat me.
So please wait for me…

Third Person's POV
The emperor was enraged.
He killed everyone in the Ruby palace except for the twins and ordered his knight to bring Amaris to the Sapphire palace and leave Athanasia be.
After a few days, a woman named Lilian York begged the emperor to let her take care of the princesses which he allowed but forbade her to let the twins know of each other's existence.
