But he had to be a good father figure for Theo, and that included not showing any violence, because Henry knew very well the side-effect of violence to a child. 

Kate glanced at her husband, telling him with her eyes that she could handle this alone. 

"Do you refuse to understand your situation, or are you really daft?" Kate asked.

Matt turned his head and glared at Kate, "You've done enough to humiliate me, Katherine. I know you're just turning me into a clown right now," Matt sneered as he looked at Henry. "Yeah, I get you are successful now, and you have a happy family. I don't give a damn about you anymore, Kate. So let me go, now!"
